Jim has fifteen years of experience as a private equity investor, financial manager, investment banker, and advisor to middle-market companies throughout the Southeast.

Jim serves as Vice President at Graham Healthcare Capital, a provider of permanent capital solutions to middle-market healthcare services and technology companies. At Graham, Jim is responsible for managing all aspects of the company's origination and investment activities.​

​

Previously, Jim was a member of 2nd Generation Capital, LLC, where he advised small enterprises on financial strategy, helped clients raise debt and equity capital, and developed relationships with private equity, mezzanine, and debt capital providers throughout the country. Jim also held financial management positions with Mars and Fannie Mae. Jim is the incoming President of the Nashville Chapter of the Exit Planning Institute, an organization designed to provide business owners with resources and education around their business transition.

Jim graduated cum laude from Princeton University and earned an MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management, where he was Beta Gamma Sigma with concentrations in Finance, Accounting and Strategy.
